Admissions Advisor - up to $40k
The Admissions Advisor interfaces with prospective students in support of their decision to attend and select school. Also in addition, Admissions Advisors communicate the philosophy and features of the school and serving as an advocate for prospective.
Location: Elgin,IL
Pay Rate: $15/hr-$20/hr (contract)
Converted Pay Rate $40k-$50k
Hours Vary During Hours of Operation - Monday - Sunday
Responsibilities
o Conducts interviews with prospective students.
o Evaluates the prospective student's needs, interests and qualifications while providing clear and concise information to help the prospective student make an informed decision to attend or not attend the school.
o Presents information regarding the school's programs and tuition in a factual and ethical manner.
o Consistently achieves the expected goals and objectives of a suite of quantitative and qualitative metrics.
o The major components of the process being the setting of the appointment, interviewing the student, facilitating and processing the enrollment, setting the proper expectations, providing information about and facilitating attendance at new student orientation, and the start of class.
o Presents information in a factual and ethical manner regarding the school's programs and tuition.
o Adheres to daily queue and/or outlined schedule.
o Consistently operates within, and is measured with respect to, the school's expected behaviors:
o Upholds all school policies, procedures, integrity, and ethical standards.
Required Skills
o Possesses excellent verbal communication skills, particularly telephonic - and good written communication skills.
o Becomes familiar with and learns to discuss the merits of specific school programs, developing the ability to match a prospective students needs to the correct program fit.
Required Experience
o High School Diploma/GED
o 0 - 2 years relevant sales and/or customer service experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
