MEDICAL ASSISTANT Kelly Healthcare Resources currently has a part-time, contract opportunity available for a MEDICAL ASSISTANT to come and join our client located in Elgin, IL.
In this role, you will be responsible for performing various clinical and administrative duties under the direction of a physician.
Specific duties may include but are not limited to taking and recording vital signs, obtaining medical histories and preparing patients for examinations.

Responsibilities:
Obtains medical history and vital signs.
Performs a variety of procedures including venipuncture, EKG, lab tests and injections.
Reviews and updates medication profile, allergies, and patient history Perform EKGs and assist with other back office clinical procedures Assists physician with physical exams, medical procedures and treatments.
Maintains cleanliness and general appearance of exam rooms.
Performs telephone and patient triage.
Assists with administrative duties as necessary.
REQUIRED
Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Diploma; National Certification is a plus High School Diploma or GED At least 1 year experience as a medical assistant Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge EMR systems, EPIC knowledge is a plus.
Flexibility to work Mon, Tues, Thurs 9am-2 pm ; Weds 10am-3 PM; 1 Saturday month This is a temp assignment - At least 4-6 weeks (This is covering for an employee leave- possibly could last longer) HOW TO APPLY:
