## JOB Description:
Immediate need for an energetic, goal-driven Sales Associate/Manager for our hotel in the Elgin, IL area.
The ideal candidate must be a proactive, self starter who is dedicated, enthusiastic, energetic and looking to sell.
We are looking for a 'Hunter' or Sales Associate/Manager who knows how to get through to decision-makers. The candidate should be an effective negotiator that can produce a win/win for both clients and the hotel and able to create relationships that ensure repeat business. The candidate must be confident in their selling skills and not be afraid to compete for business in a competitive marketplace.
Our Sales Associate/Manager will prospect and work daily to uncover new corporate, project, relocation and extended stay opportunities as well as work to replace low producing accounts, lower-priced business and one-time project business. The position also requires the ability to farm accounts by maintaining, saturating, fostering and growing existing relationships to achieve success.
Being that the name of our game is outside sales calls with qualified decision-makers - our candidate should achieve booking goals by making sales calls to prospective clients in accordance with pre-assigned goals and will negotiate rate and service plans to meet budgeted revenue goals.

## Job Requirments:
Have at least two years total experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting.
Must be computer literate and know how to operate in an office environment.
Must know Opera, how to book groups, how to create and print reports, how to review rates, blocks, etc.
Must be able to travel to attend workshops, tradeshows, conventions, etc.
The ability to speak multiple languages is preferred.
May be required to work nights, weekends and/or holidays, extending past a regular 40-hour week

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
