Archerfield consulting's client a leading building firm is currently looking for a Senior Design Technician to work for their timber engineering company.

Job Profile:

The post holder will deliver an efficient design service that enables effective fabrication and construction of structural timber frames; to ensure that all working processes and practices are undertaken safely, efficiently and profitably and in accordance with the company's management systems and procedures.
Complete drawings, specification and any other documentation to the required standard using AutoCAD
Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, building standards and relevant statutory requirements
Ensure all written and computer work/input is completed accurately
Secure, organise and manage resources to achieve required deadlines
Produce reports as required and within relevant timescales
Comply with the Company Health & Safety Policies, Procedures, Safe Systems of Work, Work Instruction and Site Rules
Assist with the development and day-to-day management of junior team members
Identify any relevant training needs for self and others
Day-to-day management of Health & Safety within the area of responsibility
Foster industry-wide contacts, including clients, suppliers and competitors

Candidate Profile:

Educated to HND/HNC level in relevant discipline
Proficient user of AutoCAD and Consultec software
Experience of commercial/private housing design
Experience of roof truss and joist design packages desirable
Able to work under pressure
Methodical and numerate
Able to work on own initiative
Ability to manage others
Excellent written and oral communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
