Our client is a growing premium spirits company with a high-profile portfolio enjoyed worldwide. We distill some of the world's leading brands of Scotch whisky, including Glenfiddich , the world's favourite single malt, The Balvenie and Grant's , one of the world's most loved blended Scotches, in addition to one of Ireland's finest whiskeys, Tullamore Dew . We also lead the way in spirits innovation, with a range of other award-winning drinks, including gin, rum, tequila and vodka.
As Project Engineer reporting to our Engineering Area Leader/Dufftown Projects Area Leader, your overall responsibility will be to deliver Capital and SR projects to improve process efficiencies within our Dufftown facility. That'll involve making a key contribution to the development of our five year capital plan by identifying process improvements, in which the Project Engineer will devise innovative methods of adding value through your close working relationship with on-site operational leadership. Key deliverables will include:
o analysis and assessment to identify areas for improvement across the site and the wider business
o managing projects within budget, time-frame, quality and business parameters, ensuring a strong interface with operational stakeholders throughout the project life-cycle
o negotiating with and co-ordinating suppliers.
Either a Chartered Engineer or with the ability and commitment to work towards achieving Chartered status,the Project Engineer will have a proven track record within manufacturing/process engineering, underpinned by significant experience of project management methodologies. You're also a proven team leader, able to influence those over whom you've no direct authority. An innovative individual with the tenacity and the resilience to drive issues to a satisfactory conclusion without excessive guidance, you can also offer:
o the ability to achieve targets under pressure whilst managing conflicting priorities.
o a skilled problem-solver with excellent attention to detail
o first-class, all-round communication skills
o ideally, knowledge of current Health & Safety and environmental compliance.
A comprehensive relocation package is available to Speyside.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
