Overview:
The Receiving Clerk is responsible for receiving, recording, and controlling all receiving documents and orders.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Is responsible for all receiving documentation.
Ensures all employees are suing proper documents.
Handles inbound appointments and makes follow up calls as necessary.
Works closely with Inventory Control to ensure all receipts are correct and makes necessary adjustments.
Works on other projects as assigned.
Observes safety rules, GMPs, and attends appropriate training.
Is responsible for manufacturing, distributing and consistently maintaining safe and quality food by following good manufacturing practices, allergen controls, food defense, HACCP and SQF requirements.
Is responsible for immediately reporting all food safety and quality issues to your manager.
Is responsible for partnering with others; Sharing knowledge, skills and information within your team and across functional areas.
Is responsible for enhancing technical and functional competencies, as well as professional and leadership development.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum two years experience in shipping and receiving.
Good math skills.
Fluent in English
Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications.

Specific Requirements:
In the event that the Receiving Clerk is absent, the Department Manager is responsible for providing an equally qualified person to cover this position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
