We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Lead ready to make a positive impact on our warehouse team! The Warehouse Lead is responsible for effectively leading the warehouse, shipping, and receiving functions and the Warehouse department staff.
In addition, the Warehouse Lead must oversee as well as perform the following duties:
Ensure all LTL and Small Package Standards completed on time.
Conducts physical inventory, compares results to computerized inventory, and reconciles any differences.
Daily cycle counts of inventoried materials.
Oversee and assist with product receiving when necessary Preparation of scheduled transfers to and from warehouse.
Collaborates with other departments and stakeholders to develop strategic plans and procedures to increase the efficiency of warehouse practices.
Work with other areas to address customer complaints Enforces operating instructions and safety policies.
Resolves routine equipment issues.
Participate in daily production planning meetings Performs other related duties as assigned Rate:
$23-$26 / hour Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 6am - 3pm There is opportunity for overtime! POTENTIAL TO EARN MONTHLY AND QUARTERLY BONUSES! Requirements High School Diploma or GED 2
years of related experience Skills & Competencies:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong leadership skills.
Ability to anticipate and solve problems Collaborate effectively with other departments.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Ability to operate a forklift Able to work in a team environment and fulfill objectives w/ minimum direct supervision and interact in a supportive and positive way with others.
Must be dependable and maintain an exemplary punctuality and attendance rate.
Experience working in a LEAN operation highly desirable.
Requirements:
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
on a daily basis Must be able to kneel, stoop, bend, and twist on a daily basis Must be able to stand for an extended period of time on a daily basis Summary of
