Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate a delivery vehicle to transport goods to designated locations - Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries - Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, or manual methods - Ensure all deliveries are accurately documented and signed for by the recipient - Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, reporting any issues or malfunctions - Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving - Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle
Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record - Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role preferred - Ability to operate manual transmission vehicles - Strong knowledge of local roads and routes - Excellent time management skills and ability to meet delivery deadlines - Ability to lift heavy packages and navigate stairs or other obstacles when necessary - Strong communication and customer service skills Note:
