Part Time - Specimen Collector (Male Only) 15-20 Hours a week

In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and processing biological samples from patients for laboratory testing.
Key
Responsibilities:
Follow established protocols for collecting and/or handling biological specimens, including blood, urine, and tissue samples Ensure that specimens are properly labeled and stored in accordance with industry standards Coordinae transport of collected specimens to the laboratory for testing Record and document all specimen collection and handling activities, including the type of specimen collected, the patient's identification, and the date and time of collection Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including sterilizing equipment and disposing of hazardous materials Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to protect yourself and others, including wearing personal protective equipment as required Communicate with patients to explain the specimen collection process and answer any questions or concerns they may have Work closely with healthcare providers and laboratory staff to ensure that specimens are collected and processed efficiently
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent Prior experience working in a healthcare or laboratory setting is preferred Strong attention to detail and ability to follow protocols accurately Ability to work effectively as part of a team Good communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with patients Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds Experience with handling hazardous materials and sterilizing equipment is a plus Schedule:
